There are 3 kinds of trafficking:

1st – Sold: Trafficking of young girls (as young as 8 years old) are sold to India for the purpose of prostitution is probably the busiest ‘slave trade’ of its kind anywhere in the world.

2nd – Slave: Domestic slave still exist in Nepal as the girls are sold as a slave to work at someone’s home where the children will be mistreated and abused. Often times children would work as slaves to pay off their parents’ debt to the owner/landlord.

3rd – Labor: Boys are sold into bond slave labor to mining companies in India where they end up getting hurt, sick, and many die or simply live by begging in the streets.

Poverty is rampant and a driving force with human trafficking as 80% of the population lives on less than $1 a day.

Sadly, each year 10,000 to 20,000 children are sold into prostitution or sold into bond slave labor.

In summary, illiterate, uneducated, and financially destitute parents are conned into selling their own children unknowingly!

The modern day slave trade is a nightmare.
By interrupting Human Trafficking, we are bringing a message of hope to Nepal’s poor.

We are educating those illiterate and uneducated moms and dads.
We are bringing a strong message through our leaflet and mobile video presentation about the horror of human trafficking and hope in Jesus Christ in the mountain villages.

Children Rescue Mission finds safe homes for orphaned, destitute, low caste children. We provide basic means to support the children so they will attend school and remain at home. Our vision is that every poor child in Nepal would have the opportunity to have their basic needs met as they meet Christ.

Children Rescue Mission is rebuilding the lives of Nepal’s poor. You can help these vulnerable families and children by making a donation of any amount and by sharing our link with your own network of friends and families.
