Frequently Asked Questions

Every year approximately 5 to 7 thousand young girls as well as boys become victims of forced prostitution when they are sold into the commercial sex trade in India. Our response is to sponsor children and provide them with education which motivates their parents to keep their children home until they grow up.
You can sponsor a child for just $15.00 a month. Your help, at just 50 cents a day, provides a child with clothing, lunch boxes, school supplies, and school fees.
Your donations cover a child’s basic needs of a lunch box, school fees, school supplies and clothing. We also work with parents to help them learn new skills so that they can earn enough money to sustain themselves.
You can sponsor a child, pray for our ministry and ask your church to invite us to come to you to share our ministry. You can also visit Nepal and support our programs.
Poor parents often work 15 to 18 hours a day and are forced to leave their young children home without supervision or protection.  These children roam the streets for food. Some of this children are abandoned roam homeless. Our response is to provide them with hot meals, care for them and teach them the love of Jesus.
Nepal is a land-locked country between India and China. It is one of the poorest countries in the world with a population of about 30 million people. Nepal is not as politically stable as other countries and Christians are often persecuted.
We are looking for those who believe the Lord has called them to go to the most unreached areas to evangelize and start new churches. It is not a job. It is a calling. Our commitment is to then train and send out these men and women and to support them any way we can in their work.

People involved in ministry must be people of integrity with a commitment to the Word of God and a willingness to be obedient in following Scripture. They must maintain a testimony above reproach, both in their walks with the Lord and also with their families. We look for those who are willing to work hard to reach the lost in and around the mission fields where they are placed. Each missionary is also a shepherd of the flock that the Lord raises up. He will protect these new believers and lead them into maturity in Christ, through teaching God’s Word and equipping them to win the lost in these regions.

While films, radio, television and video are becoming more common in Nepal, the most effective methods to reach people is still through personal interaction with non-believers by invitations to church and Bible study.
They do. In fact, most Christians in Nepal give a greater portion of their income to missions than Westerners do. But the churches in Nepal are primarily made up of the poor—those who are among the one-fourth of the world’s population living on just a few dollars a week. Since they frequently lack cash, they tend to give things like chicken eggs, rice, mangoes, or tapioca roots.
You will receive an envelope and first-gift card with the picture and testimony of the national missionary you are helping. Each month as you continue supporting your missionary, we will send you a receipt for your gift. The lower portion of the receipt may be returned in the envelope provided for mailing the following month’s support.

What People Are Saying

“I had the opportunity early in 2012 to accompany Gyan Pantha on a trip to Nepal to witness first-hand the ministry of the Children Rescue Mission (CRM). So often we support missionaries in far-away lands, and we never have the opportunity to witness their ministry and the culture in which they operate. While I was in Nepal, I was able to visit children that CRM supports to help keep them in school, and to keep them out of the child trafficking problem that plagues much of Asia. We heard hardship story after story from these young kids who have found themselves growing up in difficult circumstances, most of them having just one parent, or none at all. We later went to see one of the children’s feeding programs that CRM supports in Kathmandu. Many kids there are left to roam the streets of the city while their parent or parents work 15-16 hours per day in the local carpet factory. It was a blessing to see them gathering to pray and sing songs of praise, and to share in a well-needed meal.”
